How to Check Your Benazir Kafalat Patment
Government of Pakistan has provided two easy methods to check whether your May payment has been released:
Via 8171 Web Portal
Follow these steps:
- Go to the official 8171 web portal.
- Enter your CNIC number in the designated field.
- Type the image verification code shown on the screen.
- Click on the “Maloom Karen” (Know) button.
You will instantly see your payment status and eligibility details.
Via SMS
If you don’t have internet access, you can check your status through SMS:
- Type your CNIC number (without dashes).
- Send it to 8171.
- You will receive a reply with your eligibility and payment status.
Important Note: Never share your CNIC number with anyone other than through official BISP channels. Avoid agents and fraudsters.

How to Receive Your Rs. 13,500 Benazir Kafalat Payment
Once you have confirmed that your payment has been released, follow these steps:
- Visit your nearest BISP Cash Center or franchise center approved by the government.
- Bring your original CNIC with you.
- You’ll be asked to verify your identity using biometric verification (thumbprint).
- Once verified, you will be handed your full amount of Rs. 13,500.
Always count your money and ask for a receipt. Do not let any agent or representative deduct any amount.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif: Don’t Forget Your Children’s Stipend
If your children are registered under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program, you may also be eligible to receive their education stipend along with your Kafalat amount. Make sure to ask at the payment center about your children’s funds as well.
Eligibility Criteria for Benazir Kafalat Program
